The Penticton Art gallery is pleased to present Jesse Dee & Jacquie B, live in concert on Wednesday February 15th, 2012. Doors open at 6:45 pm with the show starting at 7:30 in the Penticton Art Gallery’s Tearoom, located at 199 Marina Way. Tickets are $12 for gallery members and students and $15 for non members. The Penticton Art Gallery invites you to batten down the hatches as they bring their high-energy rock n’ roll journey to the South Okanagan in support of their acclaimed new album Our Ghosts Will Fill These Walls. Jesse and Jacquie are a powerhouse duo playing an undeniably catchy brand of roots rock; one half gritty electric rock, and one half soulful and harmonious roots-pop, somewhere between The Band or The Grateful Dead, and Ani DiFranco or Luke Doucet. See them on stage and you’ll see why all the buzz, they harmonize beautifully, compliment each others playing and create a force to be reckoned with in their music. Whether a duo, trio or four piece, Jesse & Jacquie bring the house down with their rockin’ tunes, and make you weep with their emotional balladry.

Combined along with Matt Blackie on drums that are an exciting and permeating force from the stage, with well over 100 shows per year since 2008, relentlessly touring across the country, Jesse & Jacquie have also backed up many Canadian artists as band members in addition to their own performance. They have two prior studio recordings in their holsters, A Cross Pollination Of Service Station Scrawl (2008), Greenhouse (2009), and a 4th is in the oven. The current album, Our Ghosts Will Fill These Walls, is charting on !earshot! across the country and hitting the CBC/CKUA airwaves, generating new fans in all who hear them. Jesse & Jacquie are a hard working and talented couple coming into the forefront of the Canadian independent music scene.
