The Department of English, the Diploma in Writing & Publishing and the Okanagan College Library are pleased to present an exhibit of exceptional books from the 20th and 21st centuries, with a few guest appearances from the 15th, 16th and 18th centuries, including important works on the history of typography and printing, as well as stunning examples from contemporary Canadian letterpress printers.
This exhibit is curated by OC Instructor and proprietor of Greenboathouse Press, Jason Dewinetz, but much of the exhibit design and production has been undertaken by 2nd-year W&P students. To accompany the exhibit, a website has been produced showcasing photographs of the books to be displayed, along with essays by students on each of the printer/publishers on exhibit:
