About the Band

 

Steel Wound is an acoustic trio based in Vernon, BC.  Their unique mix of original and cover tunes is best described as alt-folk-ragtime-rockabilly-country-blues-ish stuff.  There’s something for everyone with a musical repertoire covering the past sixty years.  Three long time musicians deliver a fresh blend of acoustic and slide guitars, upright bass, mandolin, harmonica, and vocals. Sit back and enjoy or push back the tables and dance if you like!
