The Laurel Pcakinghosue

The Kelowna Museums and members of the community will be giving the performance of a lifetime on Thursday, December 5th, 2013 at the Laurel Packinghouse and we want you to be there!

Voices from Vaudeville takes a modern spin on an old time tradition. Enjoy an evening of skits, songs, laughter and fun for the whole family!  It’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit and a great way to get some quality time in with the family before the craziness of the holidays sets in.

Kelowna Museums won’t be alone in taking the stage. You can expect to see acts from Mission Dance Centre & Company, New Vintage Theatre, Bumbershoot Children’s Theatre, Ruland Senior Secondary, Wentworth Music School, and more!

The show coincides with the Kelowna Museums current exhibit Voices of the Town: Vaudeville in Canada, which showcases the vaudeville style of theatre and how Canadian actors were involved.

Tickets are $15 each, $10 for seniors/students and $50 for a family of five and are on sale now. You can purchase them at the Okanagan Heritage Museum, located at 470 Queensway Ave and the BC Wine Museum & VQA Wine Shop, located at 1304 Ellis Street.
