Virtuosic Trio Transcends Jazz Using Free Improvisation and Original Compositions

Local Kelowna wunderkind musicians Bjorn Kriel (piano), Alex Argatoff (bass), and Jason Martin (drums) will be delivering an incendiary performance in the South Atrium of the Rotary Centre for the Arts in downtown Kelowna on March 5th.

This performance is the sixth installment of the Skin and Bones Music Series, a new concert series devoted to the presentation of experimental music in the Okanagan.

Formerly of the progressive soul band Paperboy And The Messengers, accomplished keyboardist Bjorn Kriel will be relentlessly pushing the envelope of musical conventions with his exciting trio project.

The Bjorn Kriel Trio performs at the Rotary Centre for the Arts in the South Atrium on March 5th as part of the Skin and Bones Music Series, co-produced by the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art. Doors open at 7:30 pm and the concert will begin at 8:00 pm. Admission is $8 for public and $5 for students and Alternator members. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Alternator.  Non-members also have the option to purchase tickets at Milkcrate Records on Ellis Street.
