skin&bonesposterAccomplished keyboardist Bjorn Kriel will be relentlessly pushing the envelope of musical conventions with his exciting trio project in Kelowna March 5th. Joined by local musicians Alex Argatoff on the bass and Jason Martin on drums, the Bjorn Kriel Trio transcends jazz using free improvisation and original compositions.

This upcoming performance is the sixth installment of the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art’s Skin and Bones Music Series, a new concert series devoted to the presentation of experimental music in the Okanagan.

This incendiary performance will be performed outside the gallery in the beautiful South Atrium of downtown Kelowna’s Rotary Centre for the Arts.

Doors open at 7:30 pm and the concert will begin at 8:00 pm. Admission is $8 for public and $5 for students and Alternator members. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Alternator. Non-members also have the option to purchase tickets at Milkcrate Records on Ellis Street.
