Brent’s Grist Mill Heritage Park

On Saturday September 17th and Sunday September 18th from 9 AM to 12 Noon, the Public Art Pollinator Pasture team invites you to help prepare the pasture site for fall planting and seeding.  Bring rakes, shovels, hoes, digging implements and garden gloves.  We’ll provide some lunch if you let us know you’re coming.  The pasture is located at the Brent’s Grist Mill Heritage Park on the corner of Dilworth and Leckie.

Contact ecoartokanagan@gmail.com for more information and to sign up for one of these family-friendly mornings.

For more information about the Public Art Pollinator Pasture project see the website http://blogs.ubc.ca/theecoartincubator/ .  The pasture will be a public art-driven wild flower meadow that benefits a multitude of native pollinators and empowers people to be ecological stewards of bees and other pollinators in our community.
