The Factory Kelowna

Like people? We do. What about food, wine and beer? If so, join us and everyone else for a special June Downtown Kelowna After 5 on Wednesday, June 24th, 2015. The Factory Kelowna is hosting the party at their beautiful building (1302 St. Paul St.). As usual, the event runs from 5pm-7pm.

We’ll have wine from CedarCreek Estate Winery, variety of beer, and the new Broken Ladder cider from BC Tree Fruits Cider Co. Not to mention delicious appetizers from local businesses including O’Rourkes Uptown Market, La Petite Maison, and Nagano Sushi. Don’t forget those business cards. There will be door prizes from our generous Downtown Kelowna businesses too!

Representatives from Okanagan College and The Factory Consortium Foundation will be presenting their second bursary award to Carpentry Joinery student Diana Charles at 5:50pm. The Factory Consortium Foundation donates and raises funds for tuition and books for OC Trades students on an annual basis. All donations above $20 will receive a charitable receipt at the event. Come watch a window smashing demo and support The Foundation and our local trades students.

All of this goodness is gonna cost you. Admission (19+ only), two drink tickets and appetizers for $10… not bad if we don’t say so ourselves. Or bring a couple of friends and get a deal ($25 for a group of three). No plastic allowed at these events… tickets available at the door with Canadian cash or cheque ONLY please. Change burning a hole in your pocket? Great! We appreciate exact change. Makes things easier for us.

See you there!
