Join the UBC Language Sciences Initiative for our screening of the documentary Conlanging: The Art of Crafting Tongues. In addition to the film, we welcome four specialists in constructed languages for a panel discussion of their work:

Christine Schreyer, Language creator for Man of Steel and Alpha (University of British Columia – Okanagan)
David Peterson, Language creator for HBO’s Game of Thrones and many others
Marc Okrand, Language creator of Klingon for the Star Trek series
