Ballet Kelowna celebrates Canada’s 150th Anniversary with the presentation of 150 Moves, a mixed program of fresh and exciting classical and contemporary dance created by the country’s top choreographers, at the Kelowna Community Theatre (1375 Water Street) on February 3 + 4, 2017 at 7:30pm. Ballet Kelowna’s dancers and up-and-coming artists from Vancouver’s Arts Umbrella Dance Company and Alberta Ballet II will perform four distinct works that will delight audiences of all ages including Dénouement originally commissioned by Karen Kain and created by Matjash Mrozewski; Doppeling by Simone Orlando; Don Quixote Variations by Edmund Stripe; and

The Fiddle and The Drum, a well-known poetic work born of a shared vision by Canadian musical icon Joni Mitchell and Jean Grand-Maître.
