Award-winning Montreal playwright, novelist, teacher, and performer, Colleen Curran, is giving a free reading open to the public at 7PM on Sunday the 24th in the Shatford Centre Auditorium.

Colleen’s comedy “Cake-Walk” premiered at the Blyth Festival in 1984 and has had more than fifty productions across North America. Next week, the “Shatford Players” are performing “Cake-Walk” and Colleen will be around to meet the audience!

Colleen taught a comedy workshop at the Faculty of the National Theatre School of Canada and Irish Drama for the Siamsa School of Irish Music. Since the fall of 2009, she’s taught a Playwriting Workshop for QWF and then as Monday at Ellie’s. This Saturday, Colleen will be teaching ‘Yes You Can Write a Play’ at the Shatford Centre – Okanagan School of the Arts.
