4th Annual “Levite Summit” Returns to Kelowna

Hundreds of musicians and artists are expected at the 4th annual Levite Summit March 3-4, 2017 in the beautiful city of Kelowna, BC. Hosted at Trinity Church, the 2-day arts and leadership conference is featuring Juno-award-winning artist Steve Bell as the keynote speaker, special guest artist Sean Feucht from Bethel Church performing LIVE in concert to open the weekend, along with more than 20 music and arts specialists brought on board to lead an inspirational and educational weekend of breakout sessions.

Six years ago, local musician and Vernon Alliance worship pastor, Jon Buller first had the idea for the Levite Summit. Buller was inspired to create an event that would help others grow in their gifts and talents within the arts after recognizing a need for musical and arts training in the Okanagan Valley.

“For the past twenty years, I’ve worked as a worship pastor and professional musician, and I’m always looking for ways I can help others grow in their gifts and talents. The Levite Summit is the place where that can happen!” – Jon Buller

Aimed at ‘Levites’, those who are passionate about using their gifts and talents to serve within and outside the church, the 2-day conference, has been strategically designed to encourage, equip and inspire its attendees in the areas of worship arts through keynote addresses on both Friday night and throughout Saturday, a full day of breakout sessions and new this year, a Pre-Conference Songwriting Workshop.

This year, Juno award-winning artist and storyteller Steve Bell will kick-off the conference, followed by a worship concert (open to the public) featuring special guest Sean Feucht of Bethel Music, renowned guitarist Jacob Moon with his new band The Commissionaires, and Jon Buller & Friends. Steve Bell, will be leading keynote sessions and performing on Friday night. Known for his sense of humor, superb storytelling ability, and skills in singing and songwriting, Steve Bell has been an integral part of the music industry for the past 25 years. Armed with a focussed mission to “encourage Christian faith and thoughtful living through artful word and song,” Bell will be mentoring and teaching attendees at Levite Summit this year through his keynote sessions.

Buller and his team are excited to bring the Levite Summit once again to the Valley in hopes that everyone will leave inspired with new ideas, feeling refreshed and renewed, and ultimately equipped and inspired to continue creating and leading with authenticity within their communities.
