Dear Jazz Café friends – I would like to bring to your attention a singer/musician who is coming through Kelowna while in British Columbia touring. Like all musicians on tour, we’d rather work on our days off than do nothing, so I organized with Wilbur at Wine & Art to host Erin Costelo. This wonderful talent is now performing at a pop-up concert on October 29 from 7:30 – 9 p.m. She will be singing and playing the piano accompanied by her touring guitarist.

Erin is a Nova Scotia native with international appeal and was been labeled as “The voice of a soul singer, the soul of a gospel singer.

Erin has shared the stage with a number of incredible musical legends. She has opened for; Mavis Staples, Dr. John, Boz Scaggs and Bettye Lavette. She has co-written with Juno Award winner, Stephen Fearing, recorded and toured with fellow east coasters, Joel Plaskett, Amelia Curran and Rose Cousins, collaborating with each of them, either on recordings or in live performances.
