KELOWNA’S GOSPEL MISSION HARMONY HOUSE 20TH YEAR IN CHANGING LIVES

This Saturday July 25th Kelowna’s Gospel Mission will celebrate the 20th year of Harmony House, their women’s supportive recovery home.

Harmony House opened its doors to broken, hurting women in June of 1995.  In 2006, Shiloh House, a second residence was added to Harmony Ministries.  The past 20 years has seen hundreds of women pass through the doors of Harmony Ministries as they transitioned into independent living.  Harmony provides a safe supportive environment to grow strong in recovery and faith.

Nancy Tordiffe, Director of Harmony House, said “It has been a gift to work at Harmony with all the women, watching them grow into health and wholeness. Every day is an exciting adventure with our women! I’m so blessed to be part of life at Harmony and Kelowna’s Gospel Mission.”

Harmony House is focused on providing women the opportunity to re-build their lives. Our live-in programs offer freedom from addictive lifestyles, equipping each person with the tools to live healthy lives long after leaving Harmony House.

Kelowna’s Gospel Mission is grateful for the support of our community in helping to support Harmony House.  Please contact the Gospel Mission to donate, volunteer or give an in-kind gift.
