Patricia Cano

Our On Stage Concert series continues on May 1 2015 with Patricia Cano. With the audience seated cabaret style on the stage, Patricia Cano performs an intimate concert in this unique venue.


Patricia Cano sings in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Influenced by South American folk forms including Afro-Peruvian rhythms and samba. Her music is driven by the groove of jazz, and the soul of folk & blues.

Since 2001, Cano has performed internationally as a singer and actress. She spent five years in Paris working for the world-renowned theatre company Le Théâtre du Soleil. During this time, Cano spent three months in South Korea studying South Korean folk singing and drumming, awakening her fascination with music. Following her time with Le Théâtre du Soleil, Cano headed to Brazil, where she immersed herself in the music scene.

Cano launched her singing career in 2009 with her debut album This is the New World co-created in four languages with her Brazilian musical partner Carlos Bernardo. Featuring both original compositions  and  traditional pieces in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese,This is the New World has been met with great success, receiving the award for Best Album – Solo artist at the North Ontario Music & Film Award Conference in 2011.

Tickets for On Stage Concerts: Patricia Cano are $25 each and include a complimentary signature beverage provided by Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery.
