TWO BEARS NORTH
Sophie Heppell and Melissa Walker have spent the last seven years cultivating the Edmonton based band Two Bears North. Heppell’s melodic sense, Walker’s incomparable groove and the addition of Nich Davies on drums have made the band unstoppable. Winner of the “People’s Choice” Award at the 2014 Edmonton Music Awards their debut album, Comeocean, released December 2013, was nominated for an additional five EMA’s and was named the number one album in Edmonton for 2013 by gigcity.ca.
