The Biennial International Print Exhibition (BIMPE) is an exhibition organized and held every two years. The exhibition is first shown at the Federation Gallery and the Dundarave Print Workshop in Vancouver and then travels to Edmonton and to the UBCO campus in Kelowna.

The exhibition is an international showcase for small scale works measuring no more than 15cm × 10cm, and is open to images made using all printmaking techniques from traditional line etching and stone lithography to woodcuts and screen prints to the most contemporary digital image-making processes.

This year celebrates the eighth incarnation of this biennial exhibition and features almost 425 original works of print-based art from around the globe. In all, 314 artists from 48 countries submitted nearly a thousand works to the jury. The jurors this year were K. Gwen Frank, Richard Tetrault, and Alexandra Haeseker.

This is the second time the BIMPE exhibition has come to the FINA Gallery at the UBCO campus. It is an incredible chance for artists, students and people in the Okanagan Valley to see such an accomplished collection of international print-based art works.
