FREE FAMILY EVENT KELOWNA BCSPCA

Open For Change (OFC) is excited to announce our first ever Contribution Campaign for the BCSPCA. On Sunday, November 9th, 2014 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm families are invited to a free event held at the Kelowna BCSPCA (3785 Casorso Rd.).

A Contribution Campaign is OFC’s way to give back by throwing community events to connect people and create awareness for social organizations. Open for Change will contribute $1,000.00 to help fund the BCSPCA’s spay and neuter program. OFC will be organizing volunteers to support the event and their community.

Families and animal lovers can expect a day of live entertainment, face painting, bouncy castle, silent auction, live artwork, music, food and much more.  We are delighted to announce our Title Sponsor 103.9 Juice FM, who will be live on location with Kayla Derkach.

Suzanne Pugh, Branch Manager notes that, “The Kelowna Branch of the BCSPCA continues to focus our energy and resources in the development and expansion of programs that seek to eliminate the root causes of animal cruelty and neglect, and in turn move us towards the creation of more humane communities.”

Michael Lavigne, CEO & Co-Founder of OFC, states, “Open For Change believes that people everywhere are ready to embrace Social Enterprise as a business model, by supporting innovative entrepreneurs who understand there is a socially conscious way to make profits, which doesn’t harm people, animals or the planet. We are very honoured to be working with BCSPCA to help fund the development and expansion of these very important programs.”
