A WINTER’S DANCE TO WARM THE HEART

Okanagan Dance Studios and Even Dance are teaming up with Children’s Showcase to offer a magical winter treat. The show features 75 young dancers ranging in age from 5 – 19. These talented local performers will offer tap, ballet and ballroom numbers along with some live singing. Dance and music from the Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker and Disney’s Frozen promise to be highlights of the show and the audience will also have a chance to join in and sing along with Maiya Robbie of Little Tree Music Together and her students. This performance is made possible by a grant from Penticton and District Community Arts Council and Children’s Showcase gratefully acknowledges their support for the development of local performing artists.

Suitable for ages 3 and up, the performance will be Sunday, November 30, 2:00 p.m. at the Cleland Theatre (Penticton Community Centre).

Tickets are available at Tumbleweed Gallery, Penticton & Wine Country Visitor Centre, Oliver Veterinary Hospital & The Beanery Coffee Co. in Summerland ($30 for the whole season or $12 per show at the door).
