Talented Kids connects Talented Kids with performance opportunities in the Central Okanagan.

We all know who we’re talking about: Talented Kids who have something unique and simply have to be seen/heard by the community.

But how do they get heard? And how do festivals find them?

It’s easy to play at a family gathering or get a spot in a school talent show but how do they get a spot in local events and festivals?

Talented Kids was created to offer the solution. We hold auditions at a venue with a professional sound system, invite community judges and let the cameras roll. Through the audition process, we discover the Top 10 Talented Kids and showcase them at local events and festivals who have partnered with us to offer them performance opportunities throughout the Okanagan.

In 2013 we will be offering performances at the following events and festivals:

Parks Alive!
Music in the Park!
Canada Day Celebrations (Festivals Kelowna)
Westside Daze
May Days
September Days
Lake Country Canada Day
Fat Cat Festival

Our 2013 judges are:

Renata Mills (Executive Director, Festivals Kelowna)
Robert Fine (Performer)
Noel Wentworth (Director of Wentworth Music)

Audition will be held at the Laurel Packinghouse
Time: 10-2pm
Cost: $45 (includes venue costs, video of performance, and judges feedback)
