There Are No Secrets

On exhibit at downtown Vernon’s Brew Gallery and Cafe, next door to VPAG is a joint show by artists Michael Hermesh and Carol Hermesh from Summerland. Featured are 24 intimate photographs by Carol Hermesh, capturing husband Michael’s sculptures and previewing his upcoming show at Vancouver’s Petley Jones Gallery in November.

Known for his figurative sculptures, Michael has delivered human existence in works such as The Conversation, Item of Value, and The Window Shopper. He describes life as dynamic and a struggle, while the living postures and faces of his 3D work can nurture awareness for the viewer and moments of compassion. Michael Hermesh’s drawings, paintings, and sculpture will be on display at Petley Jones Gallery in Vancouver BC from November 8 to November 29, 2012.

You are invited to view ‘There Are No Secrets – The Preview’ on display at the Brew Gallery from September 17 to October 18, 2012. Brew Gallery is located in Downtown Vernon inside the Bean To Brew Coffee House, next door to the Vernon Public Art Gallery.

Brew Gallery hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 3:00pm Fridays. For more information please visit the Brew Gallery at 3202 – 31st Avenue, email the gallery’s curator River Lewis at or visit the website at
