Kristin just finished her first year of the MFA creative writing program at UBCO and she is the summer student coordinator for the Platypus House MFA studios. Kristin has duel custody of her cat, Tsuki, and enjoys snuggling up on the couch with a romantic movie and gouda. She grew up in the Okanagan and has reoccurring dreams of her old house, and John Cleese. Kristin explores the abject and every day monsters in her work, and she’s currently working toward completing her thesis novel entitled The Business of Flowering Trees.
