Food is so far removed from that which is real, that most of it is accompanied by packages dawning regulated ingredient labels. And Creative Free Will has been shamelessly oppressed by withholding and manipulating all kinds of information. But deep in a corner, hidden in a vast expanse of urban decay, destruction, and desolation there exists a small token of hope….

Under the auspice of ProjektFractal, local community members and artists are acting as a collective to co-create a different form of performance art. Building community is the primary intention of ProjektFractal, one artist at a time.

When Leila Neverland was asked why she wanted to do this project, here is what she said:

WHAT REALLY MADE ME WANT TO DO THIS PROJECT:
There are so many musicians out there in the world, that it can be daunting as one young woman to take it all on. I wanted to create a project that was something different than a professional theatre performance.. something different than a live jam-band concert. And, most importantly, something that could be replicated from art community to art community. So here you have my first Album Release Theatre show… an A.R.T. show, from the grass up.
WHAT REALLY MADE IT COME TO FRUITION?
Community. Once this thriving community heard and understood what the project was about, phone calls and emails and facebooks came flying in with ways people could pitch in… I don’t think I’ve said No, yet. The result will be totally handmade, scrounged, scavenged, spray painted set design. Even local businesses are pitching in. Share Thrift Store, Erik’s Refrigeration, and Diamond Select Ventures Ltd. have donated materials and items used for the set and costumes….
So yeah. Community.
