Young Okanagan Author Landon Colvin to read at ORL Salmon Arm

Instead of just reading books, 10-year-old Landon Colvin has written and published a book, and the young author will be at the Salmon Arm and South Shuswap Branches of the Okanagan Regional Library to share his story on Saturday, December 3.  Entitled “Spirit Wolf”, the novel tells a fictional tale of wolf families living near the author’s home of Vernon.

Colvin will be at the ORL’s Salmon Arm Branch in Picadilly Mall at 11:30 a.m. and then at the South Shuswap Branch in Blind Bay Market at 3 p.m. He will share what it was like to write and publish a novel, and how he is using proceeds from the book to support a charity in Africa. Both events are free and open to all members of the public. For more information, call the Salmon Arm Branch at 250-832-6161 or South Shuswap at 250-675-4818.
