TEDxOkanagan College – watch online NOW!
This past June, Okanagan College brought together a group of 18 speakers to each give the “Talks of the lives” in 18 minutes or less, in a TED TALKS type format.
Speakers and topics ranged from Jeannette Armstrong, PhD – Director of En’owkin Centre on “Indigenization” to Nikos Theodosakis – Entrepreneur and Educational Reformer on “Let’s Turn Schools Into Studios” to Dr. Sunddip Panesar Nahal – Educational Entrepreneur, Board Member of Okanagan College on “Bring on the Learning Revolution”. You can watch Sunddip’s talk below.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
