Brit Bachmann is an artist/curator, currently in her fourth-year of Fine Art at UBCO. In 2010, she moved to Paris for an exchange at L’École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts, where she developed an obsession with “social archiving” and documentation. This obsession fuels both her drawing practice and her curatorial ambitions. In addition to curating small shops and galleries around the Okanagan, Brit has completed internships at the Diane Farris Gallery in Vancouver, and Shakespeare & Company Bookshop in Paris. In 2012, Brit will be organizing exhibitions at the Fina Gallery, Frock Clothing, Tweaked & Yummy Vintage Apparel.
