Beth Haggerty
A Summerland resident, originally from Vancouver, Beth is a technical and marketing communications management professional, most recently in software and wireless technology. She has taken traditional fine arts courses at the University of BC, exhibited paintings in local galleries and was very involved in set design for community theatre. As a graphic designer and digital artist she saw a need for a digital artist directory and network for this region and in 2009 developed, www.digitalartokanagan.com, “An online community for digital artists”. (It is a member group of the Summerland Art Gallery.)
