Norm Strauss hits the studio with a 12 track mind

oook contributor Nico Boesten, who is also part of the TribeHouse Artist Collective, lets us know a bit more what Tribehouse is up to.

We happened to be at the right place at the right time… equipped with a little camera to capture the very first moments of Norm Strauss recording his next album. I’m not sure what # this is, but it’s somewhere around 15 and most dogs don’t even live to be 15 so just think about that for a second.

Here’s a sneak peek with the boys where Norm talks a bit about the vision and direction for this record being engineered by Andrew Smith with Dave Moore on the bass strings, Eric Funk on the skins, Graham Ord with some slide, and a bunch of others to come….

Check out Norm’s website here: http://normstrauss.com but if you have no idea who Mr. 15-Album-man is, below is a short bio…
“A veteran concert/recording artist who has toured extensively in Canada, Europe and parts of the USA, Norm is an engaging storyteller and powerful performer who has been delighting fans of authentic music for years. He has recorded 14 full-length solo recording projects and appeared on 8 compilation and live compilation projects released both here in Canada and Europe. As a touring artist, Norm tours as a solo act or with band and has also toured with the popular Canadian folk trio known as Smith Funk and Strauss. He has written hundreds of songs some which have been published internationally and recorded by numerous artists in numerous languages. Norm is also a seminar speaker and record producer and has a touring schedule that takes him all over the place. If you are not familiar with Norm’s brand of eclectic roots/americana/blues style music you owe it to yourself to listen in to the conversation.”
