UBCO BFA Graduate Exhibition: Twenty Twelve, May 31 – July 26, 2012
Twenty Twelve includes a wide-ranging collection of artwork created and exhibited by 34 emerging artists and Bachelor of Fine Arts graduates from the Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus. The diversity of media includes traditional art forms such as painting, printmaking and sculpture. Also featured will be interactive sound and video displays, large-scale photography, soft sculptures, illustrated journals, and screen-printed collage. There is even an opportunity to engage with relational art in the form of a free-standing confession booth. The Vernon Public Art Gallery hosts the BFA graduate exhibition annually, creating an opportunity to showcase the latest art practices from the Okanagan.
